The LFC extends sincere thanks to everyone who came out to UMass Lowell’s O’Leary Library for the second film of our “Music on Film” series. “Tom Dowd & the Language of Music” is such a truly inspirational film and an honest, real-life portrait of a musical legend. We were delighted to have Dana Dowd, Tom’s daughter, on-hand as our special guest speaker. Dana was a delight, and we thank her for spending a Sunday evening with us. She’s a new resident of Massachusetts, so we hope she felt welcomed!
(For those who are unaware, UMass Lowell has a very renowned music department that offers a top-notch Sound Recording program — it made UMass Lowell the perfect venue for this particular film!)
