The Community Gardens Greenhouse on Aiken Street will host Lowell’s Annual Earth Day Festival today, April 19, from noon to 4 p.m. The FREE celebration will include environmentally conscious organizations and artists, children’s activities, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, greenhouse tours, and local entertainment. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about community gardening and what environmental activities are happening around town.
