“Millies” Director Comes to the Lowell Film Festival

Filmmaker Lorre FritchyLocal filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer Lorre Fritchy will appear as a special guest speaker on Friday, April 3 at the Opening Reception of the 2nd Annual Lowell Film Festival. Fritchy is currently working on her film project Millies, whose subject is inspired by the Bread & Roses strike of the early 1900s. 

Filmed entirely on location in the haunting, ruined mills and historic places of Lawrence, Massachusetts, Millies will get a sneak preview during Fritchy’s guest appearance at the Film Festival’s opening gala, held at Lowell’s Revolving Museum.
