Celebrate Elvis’ 76th with “Viva Las Vegas” at Lowell’s Pollard Library

VIVA LAS VEGAS (1964)
starring Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret
Saturday, January 8 @ 1PM
Pollard Memorial Library
401 Merrimack Street, Lowell
Free admission!

We can’t say it enough — Lowell’s Pollard Library is becoming one of the coolest go-to spots in Lowell for some fun film events, thanks to their new Community Planning Librarian (and new found LFC friend) Sean Thibodeau. Thanks, Sean, for bringing some really fabulous film to downtown Lowell.

January 8, 1935, marks the birth date of the King of Kings — Elvis Aaron Presley — and our friends at the Pollard aren’t missing a beat. Come celebrate what would’ve been Elvis’ 76th birthday with a special FREE screening of George Sidney‘s classic-camp musical Viva Las Vegas. As an added bonus, that long-legged, red-headed beauty Ann-Margret sings and shimmies right alongside The King. Together, they simply sizzle.

Need more info? Visit the Pollard Library’s new blog or contact Sean Thibodeau at 978-970-4118 or sthibodeau@mvlc.org. Hope to see you this Saturday!
