Don’t miss this deliciously sinful screening of the acclaimed, enchanted Lasse Halstrom film that honors the chocolate beast in all of us: Chocolat. This whimsical, moral tale starring Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp, Lena Olin, Alfred Molina, and Dame Judi Dench has earned its place as a classic cinematic treasure. Binoche plays the luminous Vianne, a wayfaring chocolatier who, like her ancestors, finds herself drifting across France with her young, daydreaming daughter Anouk. When Vianne and Anouk find themselves in a quaint French village, they open up a delightful chocolaterie right in the village square to the dismay and wonder of the onlooking locals. But slowly, Vianne’s wisdom and sensual charm transforms the mundane lives of the prudish locals.

Before the 7PM film screening at the National Park Visitor Center, sample a variety of sweet and savory chocolate products at The Brush Gallery & Artists Studios from 5:30 – 7PM. For just $10 per per person, you’ll enjoy both the film screening AND the chocolate tasting featuring Wine & Chocolate Pairings, Coffee & Chocolate Pairings, and a variety of gourmet chocolate and specialty items from the following food sellers and confectioners:

Brew’d Awakening Coffeehaus (Lowell)

Cookie Central (Andover)

Equal Exchange Fair Trade Products (West Bridgewater, MA)

Market Street Market (Lowell)

Michele’s Sweet Shoppe (Concord, NH)

Sweet Lydia’s Homemade S’mores (Lowell)

Tutto Bene Wine & Cheese Cellar (Lowell)
