For everyone who joined us for our final screening of our Music On Film series yesterday, we send a heartfelt Thank You. Our film, “Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus,” was a dicey one in our estimation — not a film for everyone — even though it meant a lot to us to screen it. But from what we can tell, it was received very positively. It was a VERY good gauge of what audiences might enjoy in the future.
And of course, the afternoon was made complete by the stellar performance of Appalachian Still, our new found friends from Northampton. They were incredibly gracious and insisted that we invite them back for another show. We will certainly do our best to do so, and hope they make it back to this area SOON.
We have some great pics to share of the band, and we’ll do so later this evening. Check in later on!
Thanks also goes out once again to Paul Lappin of Parker Lectures for inviting us to parter with Parker for this screening, and of course to the Lowell National Historical Park (with a BIG thank you shout-out to Nate Potter, A/V technician extraordinaire!), who are always so welcoming and accommodating, and who we hope will partner with us for bigger and better events in 2009.
And our thanks to YOU for your support, as always. We’ll see you all at a future screening!
