“GIRLS ROCK!”
Yeah, they do. And don’t they know it. Especially if they are seen cuttin’ loose at The Rock-N-Roll Camp for Girls, an official 501(c)3 organization out of Portland, Oregon. This camp is unlike any other — and for you ladies who wish you coulda rocked out at a cool summer camp like this when YOU were a kid, there’s still time!
So this is just a short newsflash to say that the LFC hopes to screen Girls Rock — a marvelous film that showcases The Rock-N-Roll Camp for Girls — in celebration of Lowell Women’s Week in March 2009. Though many months away, planning is already taking place. For those who live locally, we encourage you to peruse the Women’s Week site and try to make all the great programs the LWW participants put together. It’s sure to be a great event.
