Greetings! Talks went very well yesterday with both the Lowell National Park and our friend Teddy P., owner of Athenian Corner Greek Restaurant. Teddy was ESPECIALLY supportive of our plans to bring the original Zorba the Greek (featuring the Mexican charm of Anthony Quinn) to the AC sometime in early February. His ideas were great, and his willingness to open up his restaurant to the LFC is heartwarming, if I may say. We are confident there are many more businesses in Lowell like him — with any luck! The National Park has invited us to screen Girls Rock on their Community Night at the Visitor Center, thus avoiding any extra charges for staffing. It was a good suggestion, and one I hadn’t thought of. All in all, things are coming together, and now, it’s up to us at the LFC to do a little homework and follow through with these projects. Update complete!
