Caffe Paradiso’s Oscar Night Gala returns this year with a vengeance! Paradiso proprietor Adriana DeStefano is rolling out the red carpet once again and hosts Lowell’s hottest cinema bash while raising money for a great cause — proceeds from this event benefit the SHIFT Coalition (Stabilized Housing for Individuals and Families in Transition).

Tickets are $50/per person with proceeds going to the SHIFT Coalition. Enjoy a buffet dinner and live entertainment! Formal attire is encouraged!
More about the SHIFT Coalition
The SHIFT Coalition is a partnership comprised of 30+ organizations committed to ending homelessness in Greater Lowell. The Coalition’s mission is to prevent or end homelessness by raising funds to pay past-due rent, effectively preventing eviction. The Coalition also helps homeless families and individuals to obtain permanent affordable housing by assisting with first month’s rent or a security deposit. Because funds are raised locally, SHIFT is also able to assist with fuel assistance or other utility-related issues that can affect housing stability. Without SHIFT resources, these people would almost certainly have “fallen through the cracks.”
