This great film setup hasn’t infiltrated the Merrimack Valley yet, but it is still very worthy of praise. If you’re in the Amherst, Boston, or New Bedford area, then you’re in luck: ITVS, the co-presenter of PBS’s fabulous film series Independent Lens, presents Community Cinema, a free monthly screening series, offered in over 50 cities throughout the U.S. Mark their website as a favorite or follow them on Twitter, as they screen some pretty great films at NO COST. And there is nothing better than supporting a true community film effort (something we here at the Lowell Film Collaborative are excited to be a part of!)
