Thank you all for a wonderful night!

We just had to give a shout out of thanks to everyone who made last night’s (Thurs., Mar. 4) TRIPLE film event in Lowell so fun and special for us. Brett and I did double duty as we helped launch film screenings at two events: a film screening for Women’s Week and one for the Irish Cultural Committee.

It was a hectic day and late night for us, but it was such a pleasure to know that we were helping audiences learn more about an incredible show of heroism (“Pray the Devil Back to Hell“) or providing an evening of classic comedy and family-friendly fare (“Into the West” and “Waking Ned Devine.”) It was wonderful for me personally to be able to enjoy both events, though I had to switch mental and emotional gears as I moved from the inspirational women of Liberia who fought for peace in their country, to a serene, quirky Irish village where a band of lotto winners celebrates their millions.

If you joined us for any of these films, we want to THANK YOU. You’re the reason we love doing what we do, even on those nights that we’re tuckered out from carrying all that great film equipment!

Special thanks goes to the following friends and supporters:

Nancy Peacock
Pete Pedulla
Patrick Pierce & Kathleen Pierce
Peg McAndrews
Deborah Myrick
Pat Demaras
Bob Forrant
Matthew Himmel
Theresa Park
Craig Thomas

We hope to see everyone at all our upcoming film events taking place in the next few weeks and months. We’ll be updating our calendar, as new events have been added!

And be sure to save the date for the upcoming Lowell Film Festival, which should be a truly fun event for ANY movie-goer. Get all the info at www.lowellfilms.org.

Thank you all once again — see you at the movies!
