As covered in the Lowell Sun last week, the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau (MVCVB) and the City of Lowell have negotiated a special Lowell premiere of The Fighter at the Lowell Showcase Cinemas on Thursday, December 9, one week before the film premieres nationwide in theaters (December 17) and one day before it hits four Massachusetts cities, INCLUDING Lowell. Tickets for the event are $75 per person and are available starting 10 a.m. Monday, November 29 by calling the MVCVB at 978-459-6150. There are only 300 seats available for the screening, so get your tickets quick!
The $75 ticket gets you into the film screening as well as a guest reception before the film at the Courtyard Marriott, 30 Industrial Avenue East, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Team Micky Ward Charities and the MVCVB.
