Zhang Meng’s award-winning film The Piano in a Factory has all the elements of fine foreign fare — passion, music, artfulness, humor, and compelling imagery. Do what you can to get to the Pollard this Thursday to enjoy another one of their stellar monthly independent films, and let your networks know that indie film is alive in Lowell!

Independent Film Night at the Pollard is held every 2nd Thursday of the month and is brought to all us movie lovers FREE of charge, courtesy of the Friends of the Library, through the library’s partnership with Film Movement.
