Brett and Suzz are off to Windsor, Vermont, for a little holiday R&R. As is our tradition, we try to incorporate special accommodations for our overnight stays via our favorite site, VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner). This great site is worth a plug, as we’ve had amazing luck the last few years finding some mighty cool places to stay throughout the country. Word of note, they also have international listings.
From Wednesday of this week through Friday, we’ll be staying at The Parrish House, a lovely 4-bedroom home once owned by the artist Maxfield Parrish. Though he spent most of his life living in New Hampshire, Parrish considered Windsor his official home, though we’re not too sure if he ever spent an extended amount of time living in the house we’re staying in. Our guess is that he had several homes that he used for private gatherings and getaways.
While The Parrish House isn’t equipped with our often sought-after state-of-the-art movie set-up, it does provide tons of space for us to stretch out in. Our movie watching will probably take place courtesy of iPad and Netflix, which is just fine by us.
So, as we bid farewell for a few days, we’ll be back on Friday with an event update for a coming Lowell attraction we’re hosting, so STAY TUNED.
Till then, we want to thank you all for your ongoing support. We truly give thanks for all the great people we’ve met these last couple of years — we give big thanks to every one of you for becoming good friends, big fans, and staunch supporters. THANK YOU!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Warm holiday wishes,
Suzz and Brett Cromwell
